Preparation Instructions:

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • For food safety, quality, and thorough cooking, please follow the instructions below.
  • Keep frozen until ready for use. Fish can be prepared from thawed or frozen. The preferred method is from thawed. To thaw, remove fish from pouch, cover, and refrigerate overnight. To quick thaw, place pouch in cold water for 20 to 30 minutes. Cook fish immediately after thawing.
  • Product is not ready to eat until fully cooked to an internal temperature of 145°F.

CONVENTIONAL OVEN

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Remove fillet(s) from pouch and place in a single layer, not touching, with flat side down on a foil-lined sided baking pan.
  • Place baking pan on middle rack of oven.
  • From thawed: Bake for 15 – 18 minutes (1 to 2 fillets).
  • From frozen: Bake for 28 – 32 minutes (1 to 2 fillets).

GRILL

  • Spray aluminum foil lightly with cooking oil, then place on grill.
  • Preheat grill to MEDIUM-HIGH (350°F – 375°F).
  • Remove fillet(s) from pouch and place in a single layer, not touching, with flat side down on foil.
  • From thawed: Grill for 10 – 15 minutes (1 to 2 fillets)
  • From frozen: Grill for 20 – 25 minutes (1 to 2 fillets)

Product has been deboned, but as with all fish, there is the potential to find small bones. Due to differences in appliances and quantity prepared, cooking times may vary and require adjustment. Microwaving not recommended. Caution-Product will be hot!

HELPFUL COOKING TIPS FOR PERFECT FISH:

  • For bolder flavor, pour all the marinade in the pouch over the fillet before cooking.
  • Fish thickness may affect cooking time. Thoroughly cooked fish will flake with a fork.
  • Skin is left on for added moisture and ease of cooking but can be easily removed with a spatula after the fish is cooked, before serving.

Stop with the shrink flation!

A few months ago this pack was 10oz, now it’s 8oz an noticeably smaller. Stop shrinking the size and charge what it is worth. Not buying a product if we are still hungry afterwards.

I like the season grilled and steakhouse “Wild” salmon.

However, as one of the other reviews questioned the “bioengineering” stated on the label. Your response was that it is due to the soya sauce used, but soy sauce is not listed as an ingredient. This gives me pause as I avoid bioengineered foods, especially seafood and any meat.

Bio-Engineered?

It taste great, I’m just curious as to what is the Bio-engineered ingredients??

I would not recommend

I’m not sure what fish we were eating. The “salmon ” was almost white after baking had no flavor except for the overindulged, overwhelming marinade. Thinking a can of tuna would have been a better, healthier and cheaper choice

Best salmon ever!

Morey’s salmon is the best we’ve ever eaten, bar none. No restaurant comes close to the moist deliciousness. Several years ago, I gave up buying fresh salmon to cook at home, as it was always a disappointment. My sister recently told me how she’s been buying Morley’s, raving about how good it is, that it far exceeds any fine restaurant. She’s a great cook, so I trust her advice, bought it, and we’re blown away! Can’t get over that we can so easily enjoy such perfect salmon now, whenever we want, on a regular basis.

Delicious!

This is the most perfect, delicately luscious salmon we’ve ever eaten. It’s unbelievably easy and fast to prepare. The terrific flavors impart wonderful variations. So rare to find such high quality.
